More even flow through the media bed
The plate-style tank distributes water more evenly across the resin bed. This supports efficient operation, reduces channeling and removes the need for a traditional gravel underbed.
Uses less water during backwash
Vortech™ technology improves how the media bed is lifted and cleaned during backwash, helping the system regenerate more efficiently while using less backwash water than a standard tank design.

Both Zenith series are available in 32,000-, 48,000- and 64,000-grain models, in either single or Dual Tank configurations. Final sizing is confirmed after testing your water and reviewing household demand.
Sizing guidance is indicative only. Hardness, occupancy, well water, and high-flow fixtures can change the recommendation. Grain capacity is a nameplate rating at the maximum salt dose; actual capacity per regeneration is lower with Zenith’s efficient salt settings.

Grain capacity is a nameplate rating measured at maximum salt dose. Zenith uses proportional brining at efficient salt settings, so capacity per regeneration is lower and salt use is correspondingly lower. Service flow is a guideline and varies with water conditions and pressure. The current 80k model is not yet offered or published as a live product.

What does a Zenith water softener remove?
It removes dissolved calcium and magnesium – the minerals responsible for hard water and scale. A softener does not remove chlorine, chloramine, taste, odor, iron staining or bacteria.
How is the correct system size selected?
Zenith confirms sizing during a free in-home water test using your measured hardness, household size, daily use and peak-flow needs. The size guidance on this page is indicative only and should not be used as a self-service selector.
What is upflow regeneration?
During regeneration, the system draws brine upward through the resin bed. This concentrates cleaning where the resin works hardest and supports efficient salt and water use.
How much salt can the system save?
A correctly configured Zenith system can use up to 50% less salt than a standard time-clock softener. Actual use varies with water hardness, household demand, system size and settings.
What is the difference between single and Dual Tank?
A single-tank system regenerates during a scheduled low-use period. A Dual Tank system alternates between two resin tanks, so one remains in service while the other regenerates for continuous soft water.
Is the insulating jacket freeze protection?
No. The included tank jacket helps control condensation and moderate temperature swings, but it does not prevent freezing and must not be treated as freeze protection.
Does a softener purify drinking water?
No. Softening and filtration are different treatments. A softener removes hardness minerals; it is not intended to treat chlorine, taste, odor, bacteria or unrelated contaminants.
